If you ask me who the queen of Alphas is, I'd tell you unequivocally, it's Aleatha Romig. Just when I thought she'd eclipsed the Alpha male with Sterling Sparrow, Aleatha brings us Everett Ramses.  Rett is an enigmatic contrast of gentle and callous, good and evil.  It's been a long time since a book gripped me so hard I sacrificed sleep, but Devil's Duet.... well, let's just say my book rut is officially over.

Dark is book two in the Dangerous Web series by Aleatha Romig, and it picks up right where Dusk left off.

Dangerous Web is Reid and Lorna's story, and, as its name implies, there's definitely some "dark" themes here, but in true Aleatha fashion, she had me turning page after page to keep up with the angst and grasping, albeit somewhat in vain, for an HEA. It's not uncommon for me to have to sit an Aleatha book aside and give myself time to breathe - her writing is just. that. good. And, also true to what readers have come to expect from this author, Dark has left us hanging, anxiously await the Dawn.

Five Stars!
