Synopsis
Chloe’s life is safe and comfortable. Meeting a tall, dark stranger covered in tattoos is not in her plans. Bad boys just aren’t her type, even if they gorgeous and built like a brick wall. The alarms in her head warn that Aiden Hunter is definitely on the list of men her mother told her to avoid, but she doesn’t listen.

Shay Savage’s Alarm, was a such a great read!
Why do we sometimes ignore our internal alarms? You know they ring for a reason.
Chloe leads a content and mundane, humdrum existence.
Going grocery shopping on Saturday morning is her excitement for the day.
One night, she goes out with friends to a bar and bumps into a man.
Always looking for a storyline and characters who fall outside the norm, Shay Savage’s tales have a habit of evoking some extreme emotions from fans. She prides herself on plots that are unpredictable and loves to hear it when a story doesn’t take the path assumed by her readers. With a strong interest in psychology, Shay loves to delve into the dark recesses of her character’s brains–and there is definitely some darkness to be found! Though the journey is often bumpy, if you can hang on long enough you won’t regret the ride. You may not always like the characters or the things they do, but you'll certainly understand them.
Shay Savage lives in Ohio with her husband and two children. She’s an avid soccer fan, loves vacationing near the ocean, enjoys science fiction in all forms, and absolutely adores all of the encouragement she has received from those who have enjoyed her work.

Right then, her whole world changes and Chloe doesn't even know it. She doesn't realize what is coming her way and it all because of this man.

I applaud Chloe for getting out of her comfort zone. Even if it was unbeknownst to her at times.
First Miami, then her little adventures with Aiden, who pushes her boundaries just a little bit more each time.
Now, let's talk about Aiden... Fully tatted up, solid muscles, foul mouth.
Oh my...
He definitely wasn't what I thought he was going to be.
Stereotypes are such a bitch.
He is sketchy at times and even though he's held information about himself and his life back, he was honest, too.
Aiden got Chloe to live a little and brought her out of her shell.
And yeah he has a past, but who doesn't? He needed to deal with it, before trying to have Chloe in his life, but like most men do, he went about it the wrong way.
FINALLY, when he does, I totally love Aiden!! #TeamAiden
(P.S. Did I fail to mention he rocks in bed? Because oh my wow, he's a beast in the bedroom!!)
I loved Alarm and once again, Shay Savage does not disappoint! I deem alarm "Sexy Read Approved" and give it my 6-star rating!
